About the Children's Center

 

The Church At GrantsMill considers The GrantsMill Children's Center as one of our most important ministries. Our goal is to operate a family-oriented center for children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 4 years. The Children's Center is licensed by the Alabama Department of Human Resources and the management and staff at the Children's Center are committed to maintain the high standards necessary for a safe and secure environment for all children.

 

The Children's Center facilitates the growth of children by providing biblically-based, developmentally appropriate education that is consistent with State of Alabama standards.  In keeping with these goals, we also seek to maintain a safe, loving, Christian environment. From birth to age six, children’s brains develop very rapidly, and early learning is crucial as it lays the groundwork for the future.  Early childhood development programs initiate cognitive as well as character-building skills, preparing children for success in kindergarten, school and overall achievement in life.  In addition to our focus on development success, we always keep in mind that children learn through play!  Contact us if you'd like to learn more about our child-centered approach to education, care-giving and fun.
